The start of the school year sees some major changes among local high school athletic conferences. Some conferences saw multiple schools depart, others join, and one conference has dissolved altogether. We tracked the changes in this breakdown:
• TOLEDO CITY LEAGUE
Lima Senior has joined.
• THREE RIVERS ATHLETIC CONFERENCE/CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL LEAGUE
The TRAC no longer exists. Some of the teams are now in the NLL; some are in the Detroit area’s CHSL.
• NORTHERN LAKES LEAGUE
Findlay, Whitmer, Clay, and Fremont Ross joined; Maumee left for the NBC.
• NORTHERN BUCKEYE CONFERENCE
Elmwood and Woodmore departed for the BVC and SBC, respectively; Maumee and Oak Harbor joined.
• SANDUSKY BAY CONFERENCE RIVER DIVISION
Woodmore joined the conference’s River Division, while Oak Harbor moved out of the Bay Division to the NBC.
• BLANCHARD VALLEY CONFERENCE
Elmwood moved in to replace a departing Cory-Rawson.
